***“I’ll watch you sleep, pal.” *** This was absolutely **beautiful**. Through and through, everything I wanted it to be. It sounds absolutely stupid, but I think ***this is the movie I’ve been waiting for during my 23 years of being on this earth.** *It’s cringe, I know, but man this really makes me appreciate everything that goes into the art of filmmaking. And it makes me appreciate being at the cinema in general just a little bit more. I literally have nothing negative to say when it comes to ***PROJECT HAIL MARY***. It had me laughing harder than I expected, and it had me shedding too many tears which was totally expected. ***Ryan Gosling*** deserves his flowers for this performance. I mean he is **great **in every single film he is a part of, but this film wouldn’t work as much if someone else filled ***Grace’s** *shoes and formed that bond with ***Rocky***. Seriously some **lovely **stuff. **Amazing **visuals, **solid **score, literally everything is **great**. I could honestly go on about this film all day, but really all I have to say is that it’s an **all-timer**. Seriously ***one** **of the greatest films I have ever seen.** *Please go see it on the big screen! 5/5

***WELCOME TO THE UNDERTONE.*** Another **original **horror film with claims of being ***“the scariest** **movie you’ll ever hear”** *and then some.. Unfortunately for me, that wasn’t the case. Although I can appreciate the **pristine** sound design and the atmosphere of the film as a whole, it didn’t move me in the way I wanted it to. I think I **psyched **myself for the last week and a half by delving and **fiending **for something that would truly leave me feeling **sleepless**. I know it’s kind of silly, but along with the claims from individuals, critics, and the **incredible **marketing campaign for this film, I really thought it’d be an all-timer for me. I can 100%* *understand the **love **this film will get from the horror community, and I’ll never doubt anyone who ends up **cherishing **this film. It was definitely **disturbing**, **eerie**, and had its moments of **discomfort**, but I was just left wanting more of it to a **certain** **degree**, if that makes sense. It had a **strong **final act, but nothing generational in my eyes. Although this film didn’t do it for me or blow me away or anything, I do want this film to **succeed**, and I want more **original **horror films like this to make it to the big screen. It’s still in my eyes a **good **horror debut nonetheless, but I think I was just expecting more of an **“explosive” **punch with the overall product. 3/5
