Gypsy 83
this is one of those movies that isn’t exactly good in a traditional sense, but still feels important. it captures what it’s like to be young and out of place, to cling to music and fantasy because reality hasn’t offered you much. gypsy's grief and longing hit me more than i expected, and clive’s character had this fragile sweetness that made the ending land harder. some scenes drag, the pacing’s weird at times, and the dialogue can be cringey—but the emotional core is solid. it feels like a love letter to the kids who never fit in and maybe never will, but are still trying anyway
