The Forgotten

"They're listening." We actually cannot be serious with a 2.6 out of 5 rating here Letterboxd!? One of the best sci-fi thrillers I've ever seen and for some reason has little to no positive ratings. Usually there are some people who somewhat enjoy these kind of films but I am yet to find another fan of The Forgotten that doesn't just like it because it's 'so bad it's funny'. Like guys you gotta embrace this batshit crazy premise and if you do, hoo boy it pays off. Great performances throughout here especially from Julianne Moore, Dominic West and Gary Sinise who very much succeed in their lead roles. The ending has been especially slammed by reviewers on here and I think it's fucking amazing!? Like, it's almost a tear shedding moment and leaves way more questions than answers (which I love by the way). Overall, The Forgotten smashes it out of the park with everything it tries to achieve and needs to be given a second chance.
