I don't think I've seen this since I rented it on VHS, which is mad considering it's canonically in the Ghostbusters universe. The incredible decline of family films over the last 30 years is so depressing when you go back and revisit the classics. This has a vision and it stuck to it, they said piss and crap, people constantly trying to kill each other, cheap looking sets (but actual sets!) it has CGI that was advanced for it's time but still holds up even at a resolution they would never have accounted for when rendering it. Funny, heartbreaking, stupid, but most of all just solidly entertaining.
