Sentimental Value

After the worst person in the world and now this i'm going to have to check out everything Joachim Trier has done and will do. Im not sure theres a director working right now that has been able to pull emotion out of me like he has. The way my heart was racing watching the ending praying I wasn't about to hear the stool fall almost accepting what was about to happen just for that fear and dread to be turned into joy at just the word cut. Incredible stuff. Also shout out Stellan Skarsgård Swedish actor speaking Norwegian after having a stroke in the last few years really impressive stuff. Renate Reinsve might be my favorite working actress the way she can express emotion with her face is crazy. Elle Fanning does an incredible job as an out of place American both within the story and the movie itself. Im probably going to be thinking about this one for a long time hence the big ramble session on here probably no one will read.
