Finally saw this masterpiece on the big screen and I’m speechless. The camerawork, the soundtrack, and the sheer energy of Scorsese’s direction are on another level. Joe Pesci is terrifyingly good, and seeing that iconic Copacabana long take in a theater with the my friends was an extraordinary experience. Pure cinema.
