The Last Samurai
I first watched The last samurai as a child,
with my uncle (his favorite film).
Now, a friend of mine holds it dear in the same way.
It’s as if this film knows how to choose its audience.
Tom Cruise may be my favorite actor(so far),but what struck me most was that strange longing I felt…
a nostalgia for Wano Kuni arc in One Piece,
as if every frame, every corner, led me there.
I love samurai, this atmosphere, the quiet majesty, Japan as it is felt, not explained.
Part of me wants to be a samurai,
to live with honor, with weight,
with this bittersweet loss.
Every moment and word touched me deeply.
Nothing passed unnoticed
every detail remained.
**“Like these blossoms…
…we are all dying.”**
The Last Samurai is not a film about death,
but about how we live
while knowing it is coming.
Rather than a simple story, The Last Samurai is about losing your way
and learning how to live with meaning.
It portrays a world on the edge of disappearance,
where beauty and loss coexist,
and change arrives both quietly and painfully.
It is more than a movie;
it is memory, feeling, a place I return to.
Even today, it lingers with Mario me.
