John Wick

After watching this movie for the first time, I get the hype. John Wick had an extremely valid crashout, and I would do the same if I were in that situation. I don't condone it, but I understand. The action scenes are amazing, and there are definitely a lot of "blink and you'll miss it" moments. In a way, it also feels very cathartic seeing him kill everyone and getting revenge. My favorite character is definitely Willem Dafoe as Marcus. He was definitely a ride or die and it was great seeing him saving his ass with his sniper skills. I was crushed seeing him die near the end. It was also cool seeing The Continental as a "hotel/safe space for assassins" and that there's rules that they have to follow. Overall this movie is a wild ride and I can't wait to watch the rest of the movie in the series.
