Superman

This is not a perfect movie It is a perfect superman movie David corenswet plays a perfect superman. A true boyscout, someone who's all powerful yet effortlessly human. Hes portrayal shows how superman can truly be a inspiration for hope and better times, while showing how a being of pure power can still have imperfections. Rachel brosnahan plays a perfect Lois lane. A pessimist and someone who's understands that life can be gray, but also someone who can be as morally strong as a character like superman. She perfectly walks a line between overly sinical and too naive. Nicholas Holt plays a perfect lex luthor. A character who gets up every day driven purely by hate. He's charismatic and funny while still being smart and cunning. Often hard to achieve but when he starts to get too cartoonist, he point blank shoots someone in the head to remind you how brutal he can be. Every side character feels used. Whether it's Jimmy Olsen finally getting a plot line, the league of justice being overall badass or the engineer being a competent side villain. Every joke lands, every line is delivered with pure conviction and every action piece feels both light hearted and entertaining. This is not a perfect movie But it is a super one
