Before Midnight
This one is the most realistic of the three. It simply displays what the reality of long love stories are. (but who am I to say that, I’m far too young)
The scene where Jesse joins Celine in the car, at the very beginning, where you see their daughters and understand that Jesse indeed did « miss that plane », it SHOCKED me. I was in awe for the entire car ride. I couldn’t believe it. And then, a projection of myself in the movie: I felt like being with them, eating with them, walking with them, THEM.
And whoa the piano music.
I couldn’t have imagined anything better to end THE most beautiful trilogy of all times.
« Still there. Still there. Still there. Gone. »
