“Blessed are the forgetful, for they get the better even of their blunders.“

**I expected a bit more.** Considering the director. I honestly had bigger expectations, yet, the camera work is great. The plot is a little vague, as vague as the dialogue. I get that the film is supposed to be to cover everything in mystery and explain everything in so little, but to be honest I don’t feel like it got the job done. Stacked cast, not bad acting, not bad, I liked that, and I also like the ending scene, **there is something very poetic about it.**

**“Was it as easy as you made it look? ** **No, sir” ** This part of my life is called “crying my ass out”. OH GOD I love to see a man succeed. Every tear in this movie felt so real, every emotion, nailed. There are things I don’t get, like why the mother does not fight for the custody of her child, I feel like they skipped this so fast and we just accepted that she’s letting her child slide that easy, it’s very unusual. Also I knew, you knew, WE all knew that he is going to make it, well you see, that there is not necessarily a wrong thing ‘cause my eyes still got full of tears when he did and the film accomplished the mission of hitting my soft spots, but I sometimes I feel like the plot was moving too sudden, but maybe that’s just me Overall, **fantastic film**. your usual **tearjerker story**, but pictured in a **beautiful** way. *p.s. poor Captain America 🇺🇸 *

**We all knew Erwin was a keeper since the first screen appearance.** Dying while listening to Billy Joel? MAN, that’s a dream! This film had ups-and-downs, pretty awkward here and there, there are clearly better coming-of-age films, but it’s still good, it is emotional and it surely teaches great lessons.

**Underrated, but not for everyone.** To be seen, to be understood. Damn, this movie shows the true and quiet side of friendship. Realistically sad. The ending scene is very…very moving for me because I was expecting a last scene with a glass of water moving by itself, yk? Instead I got Andy talking about his and Michael’s stuff with a straight face without even mentioning his friend, because life goes on even if it broken your soul, it’s just the way it is. Mark Duplass is *PHENOMENAL*
