james gunn you are the goat for films adapted from comics. in my opinion this is **the** best superman film of all time. instead of trying to start over superman, it remembers why people fell in love with him. he is the definition of empathy and hope. this does recognize the political state of america right now. i do wish it slowed down a little and trusted its quiet moments.

its not just about crossing a desert, its about identity, ambition, loneliness, and the cost of becoming the person everyone thinks you are. unfortunately the arab independence tragically failed. france took syria and lebanon, britain took iraq and palestine. but wow tho. i do not regret my 4 hours.
