Oppenheimer

This movie is amazing overall, obviously visually and musically it’s top tier as well with it being Christopher Nolan. The shots in this movie were some I’ve never seen before and the scene with the test explosion was my favorite of the film along with after the test seeing the emotion and regret in those scenes.  Couple reasons it’s not a 5 for me; 1) I do really like history but even so, I found myself having to do some 3rd party research during the movie to truly understand what was going on politically at the time especially after the bombs were dropped, particularly with the Strauss situation.  2) Josh Peck and Rodrick from diary of a wimpy kid threw me off. At first this seemed kinda like a joke and funny but it became all I thought about when I saw them instead of who they were in this movie.
