This movie was very charming from the beginning to the very end. Amélie is also one of the most interesting protagonist.
Amélie tries to do good and fix other people’s problems simply because it makes her feel good. There’s something so genuine about her small, thoughtful gestures.
Not to mention, the amazing soundtrack is unforgettable. It is just whimsical, and melancholic. It’s also visually stunning, with an aesthetic that feels reminiscent of Wes Anderson before Wes Anderson was even a thing.
