Heat

Wasn’t really feeling it so far into this mini-Michael Mann marathon I’ve been doing in preparation to watch Ferrari tomorrow (in fact, this was my second attempt at watching this this week as I was not in the mood last time), but he finally got me.  I can’t deny the sheer greatness of this, those shootout scenes have to be some of the best feats of directing ever and I was on the edge of my seat the entire third act, it’s so gripping and thrilling the whole way through, he really did put his whole Mannussy into this one.
