I debated adding this because he didn’t direct it but I did because it’s just so damn funny.

This and best in show are certainly my top 2 for ones he directed. I think the smaller cast of core characters really works in this one’s favor because it gives each of the insanely talented performers more time to shine

Basically perfected the formula that began in waiting for guffman. Really damn close to waiting for guffman for me but I think the former is just funnier.

Not quite as great both best in show and waiting for guffman. Still on a different level than the ones below.

Like the forgotten 4th child. I think part of that is that the satire is a lot harsher than what came before. It’s less of “hee hee ha ha look at our silly dog show or our silly folk concert or our silly theater play” and more of “look how crazy people in Hollywood are look at how much of a dick everyone is don’t come to Hollywood it ruins lives”

If for your consideration is the forgotten 4th child this is the kid your dad had with his 20 year old girlfriend that no one in your family talks to because that would be weird. I say that because not a lot of people know about it even if it’s pretty on par with for your consideration. I put this below for your consideration simply because it was the same movie as best in show. Could have used more corky st clair
