Dead Man
Randomly picked.
While I was trying to understand the narrative, eventually I've noticed that something is missing.
It felt like that as the film progressed it became more and more pointless (more like a "I'm trying to find my identy"). But the guitar riffs, mythical atmosphere, and b&w coloring helped me to connect with it. It was good but should have been better with a more dystopical and religious themes and symbolisms.
In that regard I certainly think that Barton Fink is the better one because there's minimal similarity between the two.
*Even after couple of days the guitar riffs and it's atmosphere stuck with me, it slightly grown on me that's for sure
