The Matrix
I've watched this because I usually watch trilogy movies between standalone movies( I mean this kind of movie is more digastable than El Topo, so watching movies like this refreshes me).
The plot was okay, but the whole energy that this movie brought to the table is unmatched. I can clearly see how many mediums this movie inspired and everything that's in it is a certified young boy type "cool shit" - martial arts combined with guns and bullet dogding in slow-mo etc. The overwhelming green in this movie is great, it's an atmosphere - really liked how everyone was wearing jet black coats, boots and cool glasses and on top of that, leather clothes.
At the beginning of the movie I've noticed a certain architecture style that I'm still don't know it's name - I've seen it when Neo woke up from the matrix in a strange tube. The tubes and everything regarding that scene is really good. I thought that it would be a slightly biopunk type style but I couldn't find anything that'd relate to that.
The worldbuilding is great, and I'm eager to invest myself into it in the future.
