Midnight Mass

Very good. It has such an intriguing plot while also having these little terrifying scenes randomly. The writing is so smart. The way religion and vampire lore are used together, it’s brilliant. Hamish Linklater is so good, really need to see him in more stuff. I really liked the setting as well. There’s something about a small town mystery that amplifies this sort of story. I think my only issue is that there is so much dialogue. It’s brilliant dialogue but there are some scenes where characters are talking for so long. Like in episode 5 there’s literally like a 30-minute scene where two people are talking and it just starts to drag a little.  Overall it’s a really well-written show.
