Saw

‘He..he helped me’ & ‘I don't give a crap if you covered yourself in peanut butter and had a 15-hooker gang bang’ & ‘Game over’ - one of my favourite horrors and the best Saw movie. This is the best saw movie because while I enjoy the others because of the twists and ‘fun’ traps this is actually just a really good thriller with characters you slowly learn about over time at the same time the other characters do. You don’t expect a big twist at the end but then there ends up being 2 really good twists. The reveals at the end when Adam finds the tape is one of my favourite scenes of all time. Just the score and the camera work that reveals the guy that’s doing all of this; brilliant. What makes John Kramer different to other horror icons is that he’s not evil, he’s actually trying to help the victims in his own sadistic way which makes him more interesting. And Yh the actings not great in parts but I can look past it. This being James Wan’s directional debut as well is crazy, the horror goat.
