The Batman

god I fucking loved this, this movie encapsulates so much that is great about Batman, his supporting cast, and Gotham itself. this entire cast is terrific, give me paul dano monologuing or collin farrell hamming it up for three hours and I’d be happy. it really felt like a detective story and that’s what batmans all about, feel like we never really got that side on screen but it’s so engaging in this. didn’t really feel the three hour run time, I was in it the whole time. Rob Pat Bat is awesome and the fear aspect Batman carries in Gotham has always been stated but I really feel like this movie shows it. Dudes always emerging from shadows to that booming score, it’s chilling lol cannot wait to see what’s next in Reeve’s Bat-verse, I love where he went with it. riddler fans rejoice :)
