Oh my God I hate Chris Nolan fans with a passion. Jiji (pictured) is my movie watching companion. East Asian cinema enjoyer. A sucker for melancholic, bittersweet film. Discord @ Cthulhusshoes (talk to me about movies)

The Salter x Rider fight is an all timer and I'm tired of pretending it isn't. Nasu I will always love you.

Unfortunately I see a lot of myself in Fujitani's character. Every day I wake up, go to work, come home, eat, get in bed and watch movies to escape the crippling loneliness until it's time to sleep and repeat. My life is a monotony of endless rituals to stave off the ever present fog of depression that gnaws deafeningly at the forefront of my brain. Realistically though, I have nobody to blame but myself. I don't take my pills. I chose to move 14 hours away from all my friends and family. Its *always *my choices that make me suffer the most. Yet all I can ever do to help myself is escape into the mundanity of another worthless day, convincing myself through the familiarity that everything is okay. Thankfully, out of desire to get better to provide a good life to my cat, I'm job searching back home. Much like "she" has the director, I too am searching for my hope.

Of all the things I was expecting, it wasn't a riff on Hunter S. Thompson. By far my favorite thing about this.
