Sinners

10/10 ☆☆☆☆ // A movie about blues music and vampires? Sign me up. 🎶🧛 Really loved this movie, from the plot to the cinematography. Each character had great chemistry and you could just feel that they had history (which some recent things have been struggling to do 👀) I loved the intro sequence so much, seeing different cultures get represented always makes me happy, and hearing the echoing singing in the background 🤌 This movie was like reading good book, I didn't feel bored and wanted to keep watching (which I've kinda been struggling with) I really love the brothers, Smoke and Stack. There were so many parts where I wondered, "how did Michael Jordan film himself interacting with himself?" and I was also thinking about how a third or more actor(s) would have to imagine two Jordan's. The soundtrack was amazing. From the scores to the sung songs. I really love the visual representation of how music can transcend both the past and the future. That whole sequence made me happy. I really like how they also did full screen for the music sequences. Overall, I liked how they transitioned to full screen from narrow shots. Overall, great movie. Highly recommended.
