Do i forgive him?  No Do i like him? No Do i hate him? No Do i love the character? Yes Am i disgusted? Yes Do i love redemption? Yes Redemption is my soft spot. ANYTHING i watch, hear or play associated with change, optimism, hope or building newer and healthier self, i fall in love with. I doubted Kubrik, i thought he was overrated, i viewed him as a film school final boss, but Barry Lyndon and this masterpiece changed my perspective on him. This is how much i love redemption, just one movie about it fully changed my view of a director. The disgust, hatred, violence, pessimism, vile, vain, pride, wrath destroyed and turned into hope for a better future, brings me satisfaction unlike anything else.
