🇺🇦 Почала дивитися цей серіал, бо було цікаво нарешті зрозуміти, за яку роботу Гіддлстон отримав свій «Золотий глобус» і номінацію на «Еммі». Я і не мала завищених очікувань, але серіал для мене не виправдав ані свого рейтингу, ані навіть цих мінімальних сподівань. Особисто для мене не спрацювало майже нічого: дивні операторські рішення, дуже невдало підібрані другорядні актори, та й персонажі, як тут уже написали раніше, «the world’s dumbest smart people»… До речі, питання про те, за що саме Гіддлстон отримав нагороду, для мене так і залишилося відкритим. Хотіла подивитися перший сезон до виходу другого на початку 2026, щоб вчасно приєднатися до тусовки, але після перегляду зовсім не відчуваю інтересу до продовження ☹️ Доки хворіла, дивитися по кілька серій на день було цілком норм, але за інших обставин, чесно кажучи, я б не продовжила. 🇬🇧 I started watching this series basically because I was curious to understand what performance got Hiddleston his Golden Globe and Emmy nomination. Oh, I didn’t have high expectations, but the series didn’t live up to its rating or even the minimal hopes I had. Pretty much nothing landed for me: every episode had some weird cinematography choices, the supporting cast felt really off, and the characters are, as someone already pointed out here, “the world’s dumbest smart people.” And honestly, the question of what exactly led to Hiddleston winning his award remains a mystery to me. I planned to get through the first season before the second one drops in early 2026 so I could join the hype, but now that I’ve finished it I really don’t feel like watching more ☹️ A few episodes a day were manageable while I was sick, though I wouldn’t have kept watching otherwise.
