this was beautiful and i really enjoyed it, but gosh at the beginning frank was making me so nervous with his lies please. 12 years in prison for millions of dollars in fraud is kind of insanely low but that's just my opinion! carl and frank's dynamic was great.

this was so cutie in the beginning then it just took the craziest turn omg i wasn't prepared for that 😭 you're like aww runt and pig are soo adorable then in the last 20 minutes we see pig beat someone to death???? then runt kills pig?!! WTH so unexpected truly.. lord knows how much the subtitles on here saved me, they genuinely cannot be speaking modern english 💔 very cute when pig smooshed the food onto his sisters face. yeah very weird movie. cillian was soo scrawny it was crazy + wow runt is so pretty.

this movie was chaotic and i don't know how i feel about the use of modern music in here. in some scenes the quality looked so horrible? like green screened in poorly. gatsby is so off putting actually goodbye when he gets angry he's scaryy. gatsby and daisy's first meeting again was sweet, the way gatsby was so nervy aww. loved how everyone just trusted nick with their dirty laundry. but damn gatsbys life was miserable, so close to the life he almost wanted but ruined in an instant. nick ans gatsby had something gay going on but you didn't hear that from me.. "new york with out gatsby feels haunted" i know what you are nick....

wtf happened in this movie. the first half of this movie i was enjoying the build up and whatever then we got about halfway and i was bored as hell? and confuseddd. looking back leading up to the big twist/reveal i already had those thoughts of "do we even know this guys name or did i somehow miss it?" and why can't the main guy mention tyler or how they finish eachothers sentences and how all the other people apart of project mayhem knew him etc, like i am actually the dumbest person ever 😭 IT WAS RIGHT THERE.. anyways before the twist i was just thinking holy this might be the most overrated movie oat but guess not! loved marla. the narrator had such a nice voice, like his tone. idk man that twist really just had me flabbergasted. years and years of hearing about this movie and how amazing it is and somehow i never once really thought about what the plot could possible be. edit: reading reviews and i'm glad to see pre-reveal people thought what was going on between real and imaginary tyler was gay as hell ❤️
