A Separation
It was a masterclass in filmmaking and storytelling.
The acting was extraordinary and the way the grandfather's actor portrayed the role, I don't think I've ever seen such a raw portrayal of the tragedies that Alzheimers bring for a whole family.
I loved how no matter how much the adults were fighting and cursing each other the children never hated each other and continued to play,
And when they panned the camera to the daughters in the most chaotic scenes which i think the director perhaps wanted to show how children are always witnessing our every behavior even when we don't remember they're here,
And we make them go through so much because of our ego and stubbornness.
