Look Back
I like how Fujino doesn't verbally answer Kyomoto's question: "Then why do you draw, Fujino?"
Looking back, in my interpretation Fujino was drawing for herself, she knew that she was good at it and got praised for her skills. But once she realizes that Kyomoto's artwork is now getting the praise instead of hers she decides to quit. Crazy how comparison can kill one's passion. It is until Kyomoto states that she is a huge fan of Fujino's work and Fujino decides that she's back into drawing again. There's no way I would not want to keep pursuing my passion if I know that someone out there is appreciating it like the way Kyomoto does. So I believe that Fujino draws because of Kyomoto, but also for herself, and both are completely ok.
Besides that this film was absolutely gorgeous.
