Sinners

"Last time I seen my brother. Last time I seen the sun. And just for a few hours... we was free" This quote pierced a hole in my heart. This film was an easy 5-star for me. The amount of creativity, detail, and acting in this film is freaking phenomenal. And let's not forget the humor, I love you Slim, you were very funny from the start till the end. The amount of black representation in that one scene was absolutely beautiful, the merging of different cultures and music, both visually and audibly astonishing. This is definitely gonna be one of those films that sit with me for a good while. Ryan Coogler, thank you.
