EVA GREEN WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME HATE YOU SO BAD BY ALWAYS PLAYING THE MOST EVIL CHARACTERS EVER??? I’m so incredibly disgusted by her character omg. Poor Fiamma; she just wanted to leave and go back home. It was absolutely terrifying watching her obsession switch from one student to another so quick. You could literally see the facade she put on to create this false image of herself to present to the girls, one that she stole. When she saw that Fiamma was the epitome of her false self, she placed all of her future aspirations and dreams onto her, almost as if she wanted to BE her. I was so happy to see that she got to return to her horrible life. Moreover, I think the fact that she never entered the swim team into any competitions, despite the fact that they were ready to compete, simply reinforces the idea that she is living in the false world that is there SIMPLY TO KEEP HER FROM FACING THE REAL WORLD. She didn’t care who suffered in the process as long as her world was unharmed. Also cinematography hello????? Although the color scheme is a bit depressing, I think it is on purpose considering the whole “trapped in a boarding school” theme. Other than that the film is captured beautifully; the glistening lake during their midnight swim, the rainbow organization of the girls dresses before they began to play their games, and how the camera stayed on the teacher while it zoomed in showing that her student, the very one that adored her, caught her. *She finally saw through the act. *

Never in my life have I had to pause a movie multiple times cuz I’m bouta vigorously buss a nutttt. Holy sheet that one scene was genuinely the best I’ve ever seen in my ENTIRE LIFE

do NOT watch this movie with friends oml. Also is nobody going to address the fact that isa tried to take everybody down with her?? The movie was incredibly uncomfortable but I think that really does contribute to the beauty of it all, NOT THE INCEST, but the reasoning behind all of their opinions regarding film, poetry, life, and most importantly the war and how it all plays into their downfall. Matthew tried to address the horrible co-dependency the twins had on each other, telling them that they shouldn’t be that close; they shouldn’t be constantly backing each other up for every decision they make simply because they are “siamese.” Even at the end, through everything Matthew told them, the abandoned their reasoning and rejected Matthew in his entirety. *He was not one of them.*

Shit I’d fuck him too
