Primal Fear

Came for Edward Norton, stayed for Richard Gere’s performance. I really enjoyed the movie, even if some of the acting felt a bit like “look how good I can act.” If you cut the last five minutes, I’d have happily given it 4 stars. But I love a good plot twist, so here we are: 4½ stars and a heart. Further thoughts: I’m not sure I would’ve introduced Roy an hour in. The climax and ending do make it work, but revealing his secret in the last third might have made it a little less predictable.
