Mickey 17

This movie is definitely not for everyone, it’s eccentric and experimental, kind of wonky at times. That being said it was 100% for me. I adored the political satire, it was comedically witty and knew exactly what it wanted to do. Robert Pattinson’s performance was brilliant and I just know Mark Ruffalo had fun having a  go at trump in such a comical way. Very relevant, when all we can do right now is laugh at the absolute shit show the world is becoming— Bong Joon Ho is really grabbing everyone by the neck and forcing them to acknowledge whatever the hell is going on through an absurdist sci-fi mess of a film (really driving the point home) it’s not as cynical as his usual works and I think that’s just what we needed right now. This is basically George Orwell on crack. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” or whatever the quote was…
