It's a Sin

Queerness in tv form. This is the show that LGBTQ+ members all around the world will and have been comforted by. It’s as bold as possible and never holds back from what aspect of the community they’re exploring. The hurt, the lust and the fantasy are three worlds that collide in a small London apartment; unfolding within a queer family. The chemistry within this family is so tender with care thag every trial and every tribulation is destined to massage the human heart. I do wish that there was a stronger sense of consistency within its plot details and stories, especially with characters that I didn’t particularly take a liking to. It’s an audacious task to unpack the trauma that the AIDS crisis caused and the choked sweetness scattered around it, but this show will never not be a pleasure to watch.
