Backrooms
I mean I loved it, so much fun. But it does feel like the whole backrooms concepts was watered down for the general audience. I feel like the youtube videos feel way more mysterious and eerie than the movie. I think they forgot that the scary thing is not the people inside, or the creatures, but the space itself, how big it is. I love the explanation of how it remembers things, but feels with the big guy a bit too goofy tbh. I have learned that the backrooms is not necessary a scary place, is more about the eerie feeling and exploring. But in some versions, like the directors one, when you add a monster in it, it automatically becomes a scary place, which I personally think its cool but it does take away from the bigger and more deeper meaning it could have. Because now its just a scary place, or thats how it feel in the movie. I feel like this needs more to feel the actual potential of the backrooms. More to see about the company, like in the youtube videos, or more about the place itself. But still a very good movie, watched it twice tbh
