I feel like I found this film when I needed it the most. It feels like back to basics, yet a story about rediscovery. It's easily the best Tom Holland Spider Man film. As for the characters. My man Peter is depressed as shit, and maybe that's why I connect with him. Sadie Sink's character is who I thought she would be, and it was pretty good, and I can't wait to see her future in the MCU. The Hulk was the most underwhelming part of the film, and yet I liked it, I liked the portrayal, it's like finding a tiny small diamond in gold coins, it's nice yet you wish for more. Frank was trying to tell spider man something everytime. Yelena is there as well ig, but she is just there as an exposition tool. MJ and Ned were there, wish they had more to do, but plot wise it makes sense why they didn't. This definitely carried the spider man 2 energy, and yet somehow I connect more with it here than I did with spider man 2. The cinematography, editing, acting, the stunts, every single thing was Absolute Cinema. It looks great, it feels great, I guess I was expecting a little more of the plot, but that's okay, even without it, it's still an amazing story. It's just I wish the story had more of the X-Men or mutant revalation I guess, but still it's great. But overall, it was amazing.
