Great kills, great cast, great costumes HOWEVER There is a certain special something that the first movie has that’s missing here. In the first movie, the family made all their money off of board games, and therefore to marry into the family you have to play a game. Once the game begins, Grace sneaks back into the place where the family armed themselves and steals the great grandfathers weapon, which leads to an awesome shot of her with the gun. Then there’s a good switch when you find out the gun is fake. All of it is very fun while also being clever. In the second movie, they play a game because Satan tells them too. They redo the shot with her and the gun but this time she just happens upon the gun in a box literally labeled gun box armed gun inside. There’s no twist and she just uses it with no consequence. It’s still fun, but the cleverness that made the first special is gone. Still a very enjoyable time, but not the same as the first!

You can tell the movie is made for me because I too would immediately explain how Rocky Balboa came to train Adonis Creed if I met an alien
