„*Freunde, das Leben ist lebenswert“ *And here i thought this would be a documentary about Mr. Berlin party :( This was a lot to take in. I started this on a plane to Berlin last Sunday and i’ve finished it just now. 15 HOURS!!!! Honestly though, it was kind of worth it. In my opinion, Berlin Alexanderplatz is one of the best pieces of media that illustrate how Nazism developed. One's potential for happiness is tainted by the social aspects of life. Even their recognition of those elements inevitably backfires, strengthening the same repressive structures.
