This is why I love film.. Every film has a meaning behind it and it's your job to search for it. Through the dialogue, visual language, character, environment, and editing. I feel like I was in another world for 2 hours. Definitely giving Matrix color grading looks and a mix of Donnie Darko.

I heard many stories about this film. However, I was uninterested in wasting my time good time that could do something better with it. This Saturday afternoon after coming from a film festival. I was looking for a good film to enjoy with my food. I was going to choose Primetime or Buddy. I chose Buddy to see what the hype and theory. I love how the film fits modern young kids' shows that are shown currently which is very accurate. The opening reminds me of my childhood shows. The shows could be real shows and I would sit down and watch them. I think this could be a metaphor for a child getting lured through media. You can gain their trust through a device and now you can take advantage of it. Same as going for the industry with child actors and actresses being used against their will. This film will open your eyes to what you allow your kids to watch. This film was put together with a good structure that follows an understandable order. Spoiler alert: when the mom knew one of her kids was missing. The whole time she was Fred the missing girl. It messed me up really bad lol. I love when movies put hidden hints in the film then the character realizes them, which helps the audience put the puzzle together. We are the investigator.
