Train Dreams
I really enjoyed this movie - it felt like a palette cleanser from all the plot filled, complex character, stuffed feature films typically are.
The simplicity was so beautiful. I loved the cinematography, and how each scene just felt like I was there, watching as a character. I connected so well with the main character, despite his story being so different from mine
I really love how it concentrates on the beauty of the human experience - the joy, hardship, moments when things get snatched away unfairly, sacrifices, wishing we can show up in other times of needs, the friends who uplift and support us in those moments, the random encounters with people who have been on the same path, and the spontaneous moments that help us connect it all together. It was a quite an emotional rollercoaster for me
I hope nobody ever has to go through the experience that this guy did. I know that we all will, in some form or another
