My Two Dads 8/10 6. Erectile Dysfunction 7.7/10 7. Just Say Yes 7.5/10** Season 1 of Ted was a bit disappointing for me. I went in expecting it to be just as funny as the movies, but it’s not as funny as Ted or Ted 2. This show feels a lot more toned down and less consistently funny. Another big issue is the family. The mom and dad really just aren’t that funny, and a lot of their scenes feel like filler rather than adding anything entertaining. The sister also doesn’t land many jokes, so a lot of the side characters just don’t bring the same energy that the movies had. Because of that, the show also ends up feeling less interesting compared to the Ted movies. That being said, it’s not all bad. Ted himself still has some funny moments, and the show has flashes of the humor that made the movies great. Even though season 1 didn’t fully work for me, I’m still excited to start season 2 and hoping it improves and leans more into what made the movies so funny in the first place.
