The Shining

I've avoided this film for some time now for the sole reason being how Shelly was mistreated during the filming, it for some reason didnt sit right with me to watch (I know it's silly) but after some thought i realised that after all the shit she went through, the least i can do is to watch this film and see what's all the noise about. Im glad to say that i loved this film, it's probably one of the more insane psychological horror films I've ever watched. Each and every performances in this movie could be studied, on how Jack Nicholson could play this absolute unapologetic lunatic, on how Shelly could at first be this upbeat soft women to this petrified helpess one she was nearing the end and finally how The child Danny could perform such convincingly at such a young age. Truly a masterpiece, loved it, adored it , might rewatch soon. Ps. I still hate Kubrick so fuck him:)
