I remember seeing the opening sequence of this in the theater and being blown away, I proceeded to see it four times in the theaters, still the most I've seen something.
Had to pee the entire time but I was so locked in that I didn't move from my seat at all.
Certainly an outlier here but I saw it with Alex and Cameron and there were only two other people in the theater who proceeded to leave five minutes in, leaving us an entire theater to ourselves and we cut up the whole time, and untilRRRwas the most fun I've had in a theater (but not because of the movie).
I went with my friend Grayson on a whim to see this opening night in Auburn and we were absolutely blown away. We knew nothing about it and it shattered any expectations we had. Plus I had a past lives moment with a girl who also saw the movie right after.
Pretty self-explanatory. Backstory with this one though is that I had to see this alone because my plans to see it in IMAX with my friends were thwarted by an untimely COVID diagnosis.
Another movie we saw on a whim, convinced a big group of my friends to see it and we were all floored.
Was my most anticipated at the time, two of my friends and I drove to Atlanta just to be able to see it and it lived up to our expectations. There's a picture of one of my friends having to console me afterwards because I couldn't stop crying.
Prior to seeing it in the theater I wasn't super high on it, but seeing it on the big screen changed everything I thought I knew about it. Plus one of the workers gave me a free shot of Fernet before it so that was fun.
LikeParis, Texas, was one I liked but didn't love but seeing it on the big screen with that sound quality elevated it to one of my all time favorites. (Also what I think is Coppola's best)
I was intrigued by the trailers of this restoration and went by myself. Incredible, perhaps my favorite looking movie I've been able to see on the big screen.
The movie experience was good but more importantly I made a new lifelong friend at this one 🤭.
This is by far my favorite theater experience of all time. I think it may have been my first movie I saw with my friend Benton (the friend fromBladerunner) but even more importantly I transcended. We saw it at midnight, the atmosphere was great, the crowd was perfect and the sound was divine.
Loved this in theaters and felt like I was seeing into someone's soul. Cried the entire way home.
Another self-explanatory one. Felt like seeing it for the first time all over again.
Crowd wasn't great for this one but the film is so special that it shined through.
