think i’m gonna watch whole polanski’s cinematography just cause he’s problematic  but this is so perfect (but like, what happened to his family? why german man even helped him? i feel like it should’ve answered more questions) and you REALLY feel like the main character here.. reminded me so much of my history lessons at school and also got me thinking again about WHAT jews do to get all of this. hating on a whole nation and doing everything to kill them all is so stupid and irrational, i will never understand that. people who still make jokes about nazi germany and especially about holocaust are so disgusting
