Princess Mononoke

I’ve seen this movie quite a few times, but the archetype of “banished prince tries to understand the pain that has been inflicted on him” hit a little harder this time. Bad things happen to us, but it doesn’t need to be the end of us, rather it can be a journey to self-discovery and profound empathy. Idk it just hits okay
