**16 Lowkey a noob at this app** 4 star WARRIOR When I first joined I logged lots of movies I watched throughout my life in one sitting, so my dates and stats are very messed up

I actually really enjoyed this film. I mean I’m watching it late so the sound track and outfits seem super cringe to me but for the most part it was enjoyable. I yearn for the level of forgiveness to be able to forgive someone who hit me with their car on purpose.

Why did matthew mcconaughey choose to play this egotistic dumbass his other roles are soo good ): I like the sound track tho!

Very misinforming title as he didn’t end up killing himself. When it comes to someone as mentally unwell as Archie, I think instead of him loosing his virginity and getting a friend with benefits (I think atleast I’m so confused on their relationship) leading him to decide to continue living, it should’ve been him getting well bc of therapy and the support of his family. Idk i don’t rlly like how it supports the idea that you can “fix someone”by just showing human decency. I rlly did hope Archie just ended it tbh, he was a rlly unlikable character, if I was that unwell I would still be less of a bitch. Also the girl, I forgot her name, was also pretty unlikable, and when Archie was doubting whether he truly wanted to die, she was just being annoying

I swear everyone I rewatch a movie my rating lowers. Not because the element of surprise is ruined, but because I notice plot holes and elements of the movie which are just sloppy. This movie had great acting but some jokes were just not funny and I wish they expanded on some parts. For example, they could have cut the sex scenes a bit to make room for Andrew’s backstory and how his mom raised him to be like this. Also it would have been great if they expanded on the CeeCees and Nina’s relationship. It seemed a bit weird that CeeCee knew everything that was going on and chose to leave with her mom, while she spent the majority of the movie shown with Andrew and even took on some of his phrases.
