Godzilla Minus One

oh. my. lord This is the 18th Godzilla film that I’ve seen and holy shit, this is the best.Not only do we get some of the greatest, most terrifying Godzilla scenes, but Godzilla Minus One has by far the most compelling human arc that’s been put to screen in a Godzilla film. This might be my second favorite iteration of Godzilla with Shin Godzilla in pole position. I believe that Godzilla Minus One quite possibly gives the scariest adaptation that we’ve ever seen of Godzilla. A truly terrifying force. From start to finish, this film didn’t miss a beat and kept me completely engaged, with the film finding the perfect blend of kaiju and human action. What I just mentioned is the driving force behind the appeal of this film for me. Nearly every Godzilla project will end up struggling to find a balance between that works between the two. Godzilla Minus One didn’t… Brilliant GODZILLA RANKED!!!!!!
