Bicycle Thieves

The representations of bicycles changes depending on the time and events following. In this case, it’s the need to merely survive post war. It’s opportunity. In most media taking place in the 80s, and even now, the bicycle stands for youth and innocence. I find it very interesting how a bicycle can be seen throughout history. this film was great, wonderful portrayal of a relationship of a struggling desperate father and his son.
