just amazing all around, perfect performance from ryan gosling, i loved the comedic aspect, and ROCKY!!! <3 also visuals and sound were stunning

just absolutely horrendous. awful dialogue awful directing absolutely no chemistry between the main two actors. the most unlikable main character, she never once apologized for what she did or thanked anyone for anything. the whole point was it was her redemption story but it was the most unredeemable character. her attitude was awful all the time and quite frankly just a bland performance from maika monroe. the scene of him pulling up happy music and it shows “can’t stop the feeling” by justin timberlake made me absolutely crack up and therefore gets one star

roommate watched this for the first time and said it’s the only time a movie has almost made him cry and had to pour a glass of whiskey after call that an average la la land watching experience

honestly don’t mind the first half, i think both chris pratt and jennifer lawrence are great, and it had good material but took it in such a wrong direction. should not have ended a love story also should not have involved a third person
