Wicked

seen this one yesterday with my cousin and we didn’t get out of the theater until very late into the night so i didn’t get to write my review for this film so that’s what i’ll do now and i’ve got to say that this was such a beautifully made film like everything in this one was just bright and vibrant and with all the many beautiful color choices and each scene you could just feel the emotions and vibes from each of the characters which i did love but also the cinematography was so pleasing to look at because of how well each of the scenes was shot and how it made you feel like you were there in the film with them but also now getting into the singing and dancing of this film and how each of the actors & actresses did such an amazing job of blessing your ears with such sweet melodies like it felt like i was being serenaded by angels throughout the entire thing and then onto the dancing which was in my opinion one of the best parts of the film for me because you can tell how hard each of these actors & actresses work to get each of their moves right and how amazingly choreographed each of the dance sequences was like it was that feeling of almost having the audience want to just get up and vibe as well which i love when films have that feeling to them because it just makes them all the more enjoyable for me that is and i’d also like to say that i loved how we got to see the journey between both elphaba and glinda like in the beginning they both aren’t in the slightest bit fond of one another but as the film progresses you see them start to slowly grow very close towards eachother and eventually become such great friends who deeply care and have love for one another and also get to see glinda have these character progress as well where she goes from this prim and stuck up girl to someone with actual feelings and just a genuine person sure she still has some of her little uptight in her but also you can she how much she’s changed when becoming close with elphaba which i got to say that both ariana and cynthia did such a fantastic fucking job of bringing both of these very iconic characters to life on the big screen and portraying them in such ways that i found to be so beautifully done in their own ways but also the chemistry between both of them was one of my favorite parts of this film because you could tell how much love both ariana and cynthia have for one another that they incorporated that into this film with both of their characters and that right there is something that truly stood out to me and i cannot wait to go and see part 2 to this film when it releases next november because this is definitely a favorite of mine from 2024 💗
