Zero Day
Season 1
Episode 1 - 3/5 (Decent thriller themes but using dementia to delay the protagonist figuring it all out before the finale is very fucking convenient and Netflix of this show.)
Episode 2 - 3.5/5 (Does De Niro know Roger is rogering his daughter? Also, that's fucking Joan Allen!!)
Episode 3 - 3/5 (If everything we're watching suddenly gets overturned by an unreliable narrator storyline, I'll be very fucking angry.)
Episode 4 - 3/5 (They did Roger so dirty.)
Episode 5 - 3.5/5 (I knew fuck-ass Modine was involved but there better be reasonable shit for Alex's motives. Also, killing off characters who can reveal the plot is just lazy writing to stretch your miniseries to six episodes.)
Episode 6 - 3/5 (Answers some questions half-heartedly and leaves some unanswered. Good on Mullen for getting the truth out there. Who killed Bambi? may not have been a literal question to answer but his dementia or whatever was teased again and never followed up on. I find political thrillers too cynical because I frankly don't want to believe I am being lied to on a daily basis by elected individuals.)
